Kate grew up spending hours in front of the TV watching America’s Test Kitchen, thumbing through magazines to find the best recipes for Thanksgiving sides, and flipping through cookbooks to admire the high-res pictures of pastas, roasted veggies, and pastries—and she hasn’t stopped consuming food and beverage content since.

She earned her B.A. in Writing and Rhetoric from St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX, after which she moved to Chicago to pursue her M.A. in Public Relations and Advertising at DePaul University. Kate has gained valuable experience through internships focused on communications in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. She understands how compelling storytelling can translate to “butts in seats” and is excited to bring her passion and expertise to helping H2’s clients thrive.

Outside of work, you can find Kate enjoying the Chicago sun at the city’s beaches, missing questions at bar trivia nights, or exploring new bagel spots.
